Marylebone Pied-à-Terre

London

Full interior architectural and FF&E design of a refined Marylebone pied-à-terre, designed as a warm, luxurious ‘home away from home’ for an international, multi-generational family. Set above a leafy Georgian garden square, the apartment offers a calm urban retreat within the neighbourhood’s village-like charm. The interior blends classic and contemporary detailing, from Georgian fluted cornices and full-height wall panelling to coffered ceilings and warm timber chevron flooring. In the living space, a marble-framed water vapour fireplace anchors bespoke joinery with wallpaper-backed shelving and antique brass inlays, while layered window treatments soften the light and enhance the sense of comfort. The walnut kitchen balances craftsmanship and functionality, centred around hand-finished liquid metal pocket doors that allow the space to open or close seamlessly to the living area. Marble flooring with antique brass thresholds transitions elegantly into oak chevron, while quartz surfaces unify the scheme. A banquette with an antique bronze mirrored backdrop and symmetrical joinery with concealed storage and a bar complete this considered, quietly luxurious entertaining space.
